Learning to think as a QTVI
As a QTVI you will be expected to have extensive knowledge, understanding of many different areas and to be able to bring to the role a wide range of skills. To provide you with meaningful experiences that relate to the different aspects of this role, the course has been designed to provide a range of opportunities for you to learn to ‘think as’ a QTVI. These opportunities include: critical reflection on practice, authentic scenarios based on real events, guided learning experiences that reflect aspects of the role, reflection on the skills required to undertake the role.
Engaging in activities that enable you to learn to think as a ‘practitioner’ in this mode in a safe and supportive environment is an important part of preparing for your future role. In this module we will guide you through these opportunities and explain how the learning environment, learning course design and learning activities have been structured to ensure you feel confident in embarking on this role. We start by examining how enquiry-based learning is drawn upon.
