University Assessment

Each of the core modules for the programme requires you to submit a written assessment (usually 4000 words for a 20 credit module). This is an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding at an appropriate level for the Postgraduate Diploma (i.e. level M). You can find out details about the assessment criteria that are used through the School of Education Student Hub.

We will discuss these criteria further during the residential study weekend in September when we consider the study skills required for the course.

If you haven’t engaged in study for some time you may find it helpful to visit the University’s Academic Skills Centre website. These include resources specifically developed for postgraduate taught students - which you are now by being formally registered on the programme!
