This innovative quadrat activity introduces one of the world's tiniest trees and encourages learners to develop their fieldwork skills. Learners are transported to a virtual snow patch in Norway where they explore the impact of abiotic and biotic factors on plant species distribution, collect data and analyse results using statistical tests, developing required practical skills.
