They will be delving into research that others have produced and presenting this to you to use in your own work. There may be instances when you are looking at your lecturer's very own research. Ask them about their research and their interests to learn more.

Your own enquiring research mindset

In this exciting environment, you will be a researcher in your own right. Having an enquiring mindset, challenging ideas and looking at alternatives is a common approach for researchers. In your own work you will be creating original ideas using research that was done before. There may also be opportunities for you to get involved in research projects and be part of the pursuit of new knowledge.
