The aim of the Induction Hub is to provide you with a general welcome and orientation to being a Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) in the College.

There are short videos covering some of the key moments of your degree and important information about the processes you'll experience this year, the forms you'll have to fill in, and what you'll need to do to get started with your programme.

We encourage you to start working through the materials in this course now, as this will help you get your studies off to the best possible start. The page will remain available throughout the year, so revisit if there is anything you don't remember or feel unsure about.

While the Induction Hub will help orientate you, the CAL PGR handbook is an essential source of information.

Join various various support staff from the College of Arts and Law for an informal Q&A coffee morning, followed by the Official Induction, led by the Director of the College Graduate School, Professor Aengus Ward. 15.00-16.30	Library Resources for PGRs For newly started PGRs, including those on the DL Residential. An introduction to the resources available through Libraries and Learning Resources, including a guide to literature searching and forming your Data Management Plan.
